Key-Responsibilities

Technical-Strategy-andamp;-Leadership

• Define-and-execute-the-technical-strategy-aligned-with-business-goals-and-growth-plans
• Lead,-mentor,-and-develop-a-high-performing-technical-team
• Act-as-the-senior-technical-authority-across-the-organisation

Quality-andamp;-Compliance

• Ensure-all-products-meet-UK,-EU,-and-international-regulatory-requirements
• Oversee-product-safety,-quality-assurance,-and-risk-management-frameworks
• Maintain-robust-quality-management-systems-and-audit-processes

Supplier-andamp;-Product-Management

• Approve-and-manage-suppliers,-ensuring-adherence-to-technical-and-ethical-standards
• Drive-continuous-improvement-in-supplier-performance-and-product-quality
• Oversee-product-specifications,-testing,-and-validation-processes

Cross-Functional-Collaboration

• Partner-with-Commercial,-NPD,-and-Supply-Chain-teams-to-deliver-innovation
• Support-speed-to-market-while-maintaining-compliance-and-quality
• Influence-senior-stakeholders-on-technical-risk-and-opportunity

Crisis-andamp;-Risk-Management

• Lead-responses-to-product-recalls,-quality-incidents,-or-regulatory-challenges
• Implement-proactive-risk-mitigation-strategies

Candidate

• Extensive-experience-in-a-senior-technical-or-quality-leadership-role
• Retailer-experience
• Proven-leadership-experience-managing-and-scaling-technical-teams
• Demonstrated-ability-to-influence-senior-stakeholders-and-drive-change
• Experience-working-with-global-suppliers-and-complex-supply-chains-desirable
• Strong-commercial-awareness-alongside-technical-expertise
