Job Description

This is a great opportunity to step into a pivotal support role within a high-performing Health andamp; Safety team on a construction project. You'll be at the centre of how safety is managed day-to-day - keeping systems running, data flowing, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

The Role

You'll provide essential coordination and administrative support to the Health andamp; Safety function, helping to ensure systems, reporting, and compliance activities run smoothly. This allows the wider team to focus on site engagement and proactive safety delivery.



What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and key deliverables

  • Support the ongoing management and improvement of internal safety systems

  • Monitor inspections and ensure they are completed on time

  • Analyse safety data to identify trends and insights

  • Produce and maintain monthly dashboards and reports

  • Support performance tracking and compliance reporting

  • Assist with inductions and training coordination

  • Support testing and compliance-related processes

  • Manage schedules for safety briefings and toolbox talks

  • Maintain incident and accident records, ensuring actions are followed up

  • Take minutes and track actions from key safety meetings

  • Support internal communications around safety initiatives and updates







About You

You don't need to be a technical expert - but you do need to be organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to analyse information and present it clearly

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team



Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience within construction or infrastructure projects

  • Exposure to large or complex project environments

  • Understanding of project processes or commercial frameworks
