Gotpeople are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Home Delivery Driver to join our client based in Hatfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable company offering consistent work.

As an HGV Class 2 Home Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role involves multi-drop deliveries and manual handling, including the unloading of bulky items.

andbull; Carry out deliveries safely and efficiently to customers
andbull; Assist with unloading deliveries where required (heavy lifting involved)
andbull; Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
andbull; Ensure all deliveries are completed in line with company procedures
andbull; Maintain a high level of customer service when interacting with clients
andbull; Follow all driver hours and road safety regulations

andbull; Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence andndash; new passes welcome
andbull; Full CPC and Digital Tachograph card
andbull; No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
andbull; Comfortable with manual handling and lifting bulky items
andbull; Good communication and customer service skills
andbull; Ability to work safely and follow delivery schedules
andbull; Must have appropriate PPE (Hi-Vis and Safety Boots)

andbull; Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed per shift
andbull; Shift patterns: 3 shift rotation: 5 On 2 Off, 4 On 2 Off and 4 On 2 Off - 6am start 10 hour Days
