Weandrsquo;re recruiting for a Light to Heavy Vehicle Technician to join a modern, well-equipped workshop in Ayr. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technician looking to progress from light vehicles into HGVs, with full training, qualifications, and long-term career development provided.

Working Pattern

Rotating shifts with early Friday finishes:

Dayshift:
Monandndash;Thurs: 08:00 andndash; 16:45
Fri: 08:00 andndash; 13:30

Backshift:
Monandndash;Thurs: 14:30 andndash; 22:30
Fri: 12:30 andndash; 21:00

Optional overtime:
Saturday (after backshift week): 07:00 andndash; 13:00

The Role

• Service, maintain andamp; repair LCVs and HGVs
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical andamp; electronic faults
• Carry out MOT prep andamp; DVSA safety inspections
• Complete warranty work to manufacturer standards
• Accurately record all work using digital systems
• Work collaboratively to maintain workshop efficiency

About You

• Experience with light commercial vehicles and/or HGVs
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance andamp; Repair
• Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive attitude
• Keen to develop, upskill, and progress your career
