We are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support across KS1 and KS2 within a primary school setting. This role involves taking on additional responsibility, including leading lessons and supporting teaching and learning across the school.

We are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support across KS1 and KS2 within a primary school setting. This role involves taking on additional responsibility, including leading lessons and supporting teaching and learning across the school.
Role responsibilities include:
- Supporting teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2
- Leading whole-class lessons in the absence of the teacher
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring continuity of learning
- Working with small groups to provide targeted support
- Supporting lesson planning and classroom organisation
- Assisting with assessment and monitoring pupil progress
- Maintaining a positive and structured learning environment
- HLTA status
- Previous experience working across KS1 and KS2
- Confidence in leading a class independently
- Strong classroom management skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, flexible, and reliable approach
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
