HR Adviser (Fixed Term Contract until 30th September 2026)

andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Full Time (37 hours per week)

Paying up to andpound;41,700 (depending on experience) plus a highly competitive benefits package including holidays and pension.
Medlock Partners are supporting a fantastic organisation on the appointment of a confident and proactive HR Adviser to join their HR team. This role will focus on delivering expert ER support, coaching managers, and ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience across the full HR lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities for the HR Adviser:
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Act as first point of contact for HR queries
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Provide pragmatic advice on employee relations matters
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Manage ER casework including disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Coach managers to build confidence and capability
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Support organisational change, including restructures and TUPE
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Build strong relationships with stakeholders and trade unions
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Support the full employee lifecycle and HR systems (including SAM People)
Key requirements for the HR Adviser:
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Proven experience in a generalist HR Adviser role
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Strong ER case management experience end-to-end
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Agile in approach
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Up-to-date employment law knowledge
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Confident influencing and advising stakeholders
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;Experience in unionised environments and/or TUPE (desirable)
andmiddot;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards
