HR Business Partner (12 month FTC)
Job Description
This is a home-based HR Business Partner role supporting circa 400 employees across multiple UK sites within a fast-paced, operational environment. Reporting to the HR Director, you will focus primarily on Employee Relations while delivering hands-on generalist support and practical HR improvements across the business.

Description
You will:
- Manage a varied Employee Relations caseload including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and capability
- Support both manager-led and HR-led ER processes
- Provide day-to-day generalist HR support across multiple UK sites
- Coach and advise managers on HR policy and best practice
- Write and update HR policies and procedures
- Support probation reviews and performance management processes
- Contribute to HR systems improvements and process modernisation
- Produce and analyse HR metrics to support workforce planning
- Deliver HR projects in line with business needs
- Report directly into the HR Director
- Ability to travel weekly including some overnight stays
Profile
A successful HR Business Partner should have:
- Strong, hands-on Employee Relations experience within a fast-paced environment
- Confidence operating autonomously in a home-based, multi-site role
- A pragmatic, commercially aware approach to HR decision-making
- Ability to build credibility quickly with operational managers
- Resilience and adaptability in a reactive, high-volume setting
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload
- Clear communication and influencing skills at all levels
- A collaborative mindset focused on practical improvement rather than wholesale transformation
Job Offer
- Competitive salary between -60,000 and -65,000 per annum.
- 10% performance bonus
- -600 per month car allowance
- -83 per month home working allowance
- Home-based contract with UK travel
