HR Coordinator
Job Description
Futures are working with a high-performing manufacturing business thatandrsquo;s looking to bring in a proactive and people-focused HR Coordinator to support a dynamic, fast-paced site. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in an operational environment and enjoys being at the heart of employee relations and day-to-day HR delivery.
Youandrsquo;ll play a key role in ensuring a positive employee experience while supporting managers with timely, practical HR advice across the full employee lifecycle.
The Role
- Act as a first point of contact for employee relations queries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practice
- Support and coordinate ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and investigations
- Work closely with line managers to build capability and confidence in handling people matters
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal processes
- Assist with onboarding, inductions, and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee journey
- Support recruitment coordination, including scheduling interviews and liaising with candidates
- Monitor HR metrics (absence, turnover, ER trends) and highlight areas for improvement
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Ensure HR presence on the shop floor, building strong relationships with employees and management
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For
- Previous experience in an HR Coordinator or HR Administrator role, ideally within manufacturing, logistics, or another fast-paced environment
- Strong exposure to employee relations with confidence supporting a range of casework
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels of the business
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, resilient, and comfortable working in a hands-on, operational setting
- Minimum CIPD Level 3
