My client in the North East is looking to appoint an experienced Hydraulic Bridge Inspector to support a major bridge scheme on a contract basis.
This is a fully site-based role and would suit someone with strong experience across hydraulic systems, control systems, electrical infrastructure, maintenance, and fault finding. Candidates with previous bridge or marine experience will be of particular interest.

The role will involve:
andmiddot;Monitoring and maintaining hydraulic systems
andmiddot;Diagnosing faults across mechanical, electrical, and control systems
andmiddot;Supporting operational checks and maintenance activity
andmiddot;Maintaining electrical infrastructure
andmiddot;Assisting with bridge operations and preparatory checks
andmiddot;Ensuring the asset remains safe, compliant, and operational

What my client is looking for:
andmiddot;Previous experience in a Mechanical andamp; Electrical Engineer role
andmiddot;Strong hydraulic systems knowledge
andmiddot;Experience with control systems and electrical maintenance
andmiddot;Background in fault finding and planned/reactive maintenance
andmiddot;Ideally bridge or marine experience
andmiddot;HNC, degree, or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
