andbull; We are seeking an experienced Import/Export andamp; Logistics Executive to oversee international shipping, freight negotiations, and trade compliance across our global supply chain.
andbull; The role will be hands-on, and you will be given a high level of responsibility.
andbull; You will be responsible for coordinating container shipments, managing freight partners, negotiating transport rates, and ensuring all import/export documentation complies with international requirements.
andbull; The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring goods move efficiently from suppliers to our warehouses while optimising freight costs and maintaining full regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
International Logistics Management:
andbull; Plan and coordinate international shipments via sea, air, and road freight
andbull; Manage container movements from suppliers to their final destination
andbull; Monitor shipment schedules and proactively manage delays or disruptions
andbull; Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport providers
andbull; Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery
Freight Negotiation andamp; Carrier Management:
andbull; Negotiate freight rates and contracts with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics providers
andbull; Continuously review and optimise shipping routes and logistics costs
andbull; Maintain strong relationships with logistics partners
andbull; Evaluate logistics providers to ensure competitive pricing and service levels
Import / Export Compliance:
andbull; Manage all import and export documentation, including:
andbull; Commercial invoices
andbull; Packing lists
andbull; Bills of lading / airway bills
andbull; Certificates of origin
andbull; Customs declarations
andbull; Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements
andbull; Verify correct HS codes, duties, and tariff classifications
andbull; Work closely with customs brokers to ensure smooth customs clearance
Operational Coordination:
andbull; Coordinate logistics between suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouses
andbull; Ensure all shipments meet regulatory and company compliance standards
andbull; Resolve shipping issues such as delays, customs holds, or documentation discrepancies
andbull; Maintain accurate shipping and logistics records
Requirements:
andbull; Proven experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management across multiple regions
andbull; Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and customs regulations
andbull; Experience negotiating freight rates with logistics providers
andbull; Familiarity with sea freight, container shipping, and international transport networks
andbull; Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers
andbull; Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
andbull; Ability to manage multiple ship
