Supply Star Little Learners is working in partnership with an award winning nursery chain in Shrewsbury, who are in search of Level 3 (and above) qualified Early Years Professionals to support them in continuing to deliver outstanding care and education to young children aged 0-5 years old. Level 3 Nursery Practitioners:andnbsp;create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, ensuring each childandrsquo;s individual needs are met inline with the EYFS

Key Responsibilites:

• Activity Planning:andnbsp;Plan and deliver engaging activities that support developmental milestones in line with theandnbsp;Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Observation andamp; Tracking:andnbsp;Maintain accurate records of childrenand#39;s progress and daily activities in their learning folders.
• Safety andamp; Safeguarding:andnbsp;Supervise children during play, mealtimes, and rest, ensuring strict compliance withandnbsp;health and safetyandnbsp;andandnbsp;safeguardingandnbsp;regulations.
• Relationship Building:andnbsp;Foster positive partnerships with parents, carers, and colleagues through effective communication.

Room Leaders: Responsible for managing a specific room,andnbsp;supervising a small team of practitioners, and ensuring high-quality care and education in line with theandnbsp;EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilites:

• Team Leadership: Supervising and mentoring room practitioners, identifying training needs, and fostering a respectful team culture.
• Educational Planning: Overseeing age-appropriate planning, observations, and assessments to track childrenandrsquo;s progress.
• Safety andamp; Compliance: Maintainingandnbsp;Ofsted standardsandnbsp;and ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and staff-to-child ratios are met.
• Parental Engagement: Building professional relationships with families and providing daily updates on childrenandrsquo;s development.andnbsp;

Requirements:

• Previous leadershipandnbsp;experience of managing rooms (ideally minimum 1 year)

Requirements

• Full and relevantandnbsp;Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Level 3 Paediactric First Aid Qualification (desirable)
• English GCSE grade C/4+ (if qualified after Sept 2014)
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
• A caring, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting childrenandrsquo;s welfare
• Enhanced DBSandnbsp;on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
