Salary: andpound;59,870 - andpound;66,522 (dependent on experience)

Role Purpose
The Maintenance Team Leader (CEandamp;I) will provide hands-on, discipline-biased leadership across all maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, calibration, inspection and improvement activities for process plant and associated systems.
This is a visible, people-focused leadership role within a well-established and experienced maintenance team. The postholder will act as the work centre owner for CEandamp;I, lead senior technicians, and play a key role in maintenance planning, execution and continuous improvement, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance in a highly regulated environment.
The role offers long-term stability, significant investment in assets and people, and the opportunity to shape capability through training and development.
Working Pattern andamp; Environment
- 70% office-based, focused on leadership, planning, coordination and improvement
- 30% site-based, overseeing execution, supporting technicians and maintaining visible leadership
- Stable, established, experienced team with strong retention
- Overtime required during outages:
- Typically two outages per year
- Working pattern: 6 days per week
- Expected periods: April-May and September-November

Key Responsibilities
Leadership andamp; People Development
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Lead, coach and support Senior Technicians and CEandamp;I Technicians to deliver safe, high-quality maintenance outcomes
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Be present, visible and available for the team - providing support without micromanaging
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Take full responsibility for training, development and competency planning, ensuring future capability
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Create a high-trust, high-engagement team culture
Maintenance Execution andamp; Planning
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Coordinate and deliver planned maintenance in line with weekly and daily schedules
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Act as a key contributor to maintenance planning and scheduling meetings
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Deputise for the Maintenance Execution Manager when required
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Support turnaround and outage delivery
Safety, Compliance andamp; Plant Integrity
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Lead by example in safety, security and environmental compliance
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Ensure Safe Systems of Work are followed at all times
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Be responsible for sign-off of RAMS, technical instructions and work packs
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Maintain full compliance with regulatory and licence conditions
Reliability andamp; Continuous Improvement
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Lead fault-finding, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Contribute to preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance strategies
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Drive continuous improvement in plant reliability, availability and cost efficiency

Skills, Experience andamp; Qualifications
Essential
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Recognised apprenticeship in an electrical, instrumentation or control discipline
- andnbsp; andnbsp;HNC / NVQ Level 3 / City andamp; Guilds (or equivalent)
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Several years' experience in a front-line maintenance leadership or supervisory role
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Experience in a highly regulated or safety-critical environment
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Strong knowledge of safe systems of work and risk-based maintenance
Desirable
- andnbsp; andnbsp;Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- andnbsp; andnbsp;IOSH, NEBOSH or similar safety qualification
