The Management Accountant will play a key role in the Accounting andamp; Finance department within a small finance team, overseeing financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions. Description
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to manage financial operations effectively.
- Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvement.
- Support the implementation of financial systems and tools for enhanced reporting.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA - Essential
- Have knowledge of working in a month end finance role - Essential
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills - Essential
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
