Description

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights to support decision-making.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support business objectives.
  • Prepare reports for senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
  • Support audits and ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and improve existing accounting processes where necessary.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional qualification or part-qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of management reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support business decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders across the organisation.
