We are working with a well-established manufacturing business that is recruiting a Management Accountant to join its existing finance team. This is a varied role offering involvement across multiple areas of finance, including the support of other companies within the group. Key responsibilities for the Management Accountant will include preparing month-end management accounts, cashflow forecasting, costing, and supporting payroll. Candidates must be willing to travel to other UK sites approximately two days per month.

Job Description for the Management Accountant:

• Cost analysis and control, including margin tracking by contract, customer, and product line
• Performing variance analysis on production costs against standard budgets to highlight efficiencies and areas of waste
• Managing inventory including stock reconciliations and ensuring accurate valuation within Sage 50
• Preparation of month end management accounts
• Cashflow forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing information for payroll

Candidate Requirements for the Management Accountant:andnbsp;

• Experience working in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Payroll experience is essential
• Must be confident with costings
• Be prepared to travel to other sites when required
• Experience using Sage is preferable
• Ideally part-qualified

This role is commutable from: Stafford, Eccleshall, Penkridge, Rugeley, Trentham, Stone and surrounding areas

Hours: Monday andndash; Thursday 8:00 am andndash; 5:00 pm andndash; Friday 8:00 am andndash; 12:00 pm (Friday is working from home)
Salary: andpound;40,000 Per Annum
