Job Type: Full-time, On-site
Hours: 38 hours per week
Salary: £30,000-£32,500 per annum, plus bonus
We are looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join our clients team in Staines. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist to become part of a successful engineering business, producing high-quality precision components in a well-equipped workshop.
Key Responsibilities for the Manual Machinist
- Machine precision component parts from engineering drawings using manual machine shop equipment.
- Competently operate manual milling machines, lathes and drilling machines.
- Work closely with Design Engineers to ensure components are manufactured accurately and resolve any issues as they arise.
- Be flexible to work across different departments and undertake training where required.
The selected Manual Machinist will need to meet the following requirements for the position;
- Proven experience operating manual machine shop equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A reliable, flexible team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
