Key responsibilities include:
- Procuring materials for live residential developments
- Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers
- Placing purchase orders and managing delivery schedules
- Monitoring stock levels and forecasting future requirements
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and site teams
- Ensuring materials meet specification and programme requirements
- Managing cost control and supporting commercial reporting
- Resolving supply issues and maintaining continuity of build programmes
We are seeking a commercially aware and organised Buyer with proven residential experience.
You must have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience buying materials for a residential developer
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and supply chains
- Experience managing procurement across multiple plots or sites
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and cost awareness

- Salary: Up to andpound;55,000 (depending on experience)
