Maths Teacher andndash; Birley Academy, Sheffield
The Supply Register is working in partnership with Birley Academy to recruit a Maths Teacher on a flexible supply basis.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified teacher who is confident delivering engaging Maths lessons and supporting student progress across Key Stage 3 and 4.
The role includes:
andbull; Delivering high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
andbull; Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students
andbull; Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment
andbull; Assessing, marking, and providing timely feedback
andbull; Managing behaviour in line with school expectations
andbull; Working collaboratively with department colleagues and wider school staff
Weandrsquo;re looking for candidates who:
andbull; Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
andbull; Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level
andbull; Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
andbull; Communicate effectively and professionally
andbull; Hold high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
andbull; Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
