Maths Teacher / Stoke-on-Trent / ASAP Start / Fixed-Term Contract

Are you a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher looking for a new teaching opportunity this September?

Academics, a reputable education recruitment agency, is recruiting on behalf of a supportive secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent for a full-time, fixed-term Maths Teacher to join their team. The role has an ASAP start and runs until Christmas.

The Role

• Teaching engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering effective lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Building positive relationships with students from the outset
• Inspiring and motivating pupils to achieve their potential
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Secondary Mathematics
• Recent experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management
• A positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• Applications welcome from both ECTs and experienced teachers
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (can be processed through us, if needed)
