Maths Tutor (SEND) - Chester-le-Street

-30 per hour (PAYE)
Spencer Clarke Tutors are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maths Tutor to support a learner with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the Chester-le-Street area.

The Role

• Deliver 1:1 Maths tuition to a learner with an EHCP
• Plan and adapt sessions to meet the learner's individual needs and learning style
• Build a positive, engaging, and supportive relationship with the learner
• Deliver sessions within the learner's home environment
• Monitor progress and provide session feedback where required

Requirements

• Qualified Maths specialist with strong subject knowledge
• Experience supporting learners with SEND
• Comfortable delivering tuition within learners' homes
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Ability to differentiate lessons and adapt teaching approaches
• Reliable, patient, and committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable learners
