Salary: OTE andpound;47,000 + overtime
Working Pattern: 4-day week (Monday-Friday rotation), 48-hour week
Location: Commutable from Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Luton, Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable, Buckingham, Hemel Hempstead, Bedford

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical background. Candidates from heavy industry such as heavy engineering or similar environments are preferred, although other relevant industrial experience will be considered.

The Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of a maintenance team responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of heavy industrial equipment, including:
andmiddot;Crushers
andmiddot;Conveyor systems
andmiddot;Heavy process machinery
This is a high-volume, breakdown-focused environment, with a transition towards a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system, so experience with or exposure to PPM is advantageous.
Key responsibilities include:
andmiddot;Fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical process equipment
andmiddot;Mechanical repair and maintenance of industrial machinery
andmiddot;Arc welding (essential requirement)
andmiddot;Reading and interpreting mechanical and CAD drawings
andmiddot;Fitting and assembling mechanical components
andmiddot;Working across multiple production lines (typically two lines), ensuring uptime
andmiddot;Calling on additional engineering support when required
