Job Role:
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all production and site machinery through both planned and reactive maintenance. Working within a fast-paced industrial environment, you will play a key role in minimising downtime, improving plant performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Proven experience as aandnbsp;Mechanical Engineerandnbsp;in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong fault-finding ability onandnbsp;mechanical systems
• Experience carrying outandnbsp;planned and reactive maintenance
• Understanding ofandnbsp;health andamp; safety procedures and safe systems of work

Requirements:

• Strong experience working withandnbsp;hydraulics and pneumatic systems
• Maintenance and repair ofandnbsp;conveyors, belts, bearings, chains, and gearboxes
• Experience working onandnbsp;motors, pumps, and mechanical drive systems
• Ability to carry outandnbsp;fault finding and component replacement on moving machinery
• Experience withandnbsp;preventative maintenance schedules (PPM)
• Hands-on engineering approach within aandnbsp;production or process environment

Key skills required:

• Strong fault-finding onandnbsp;motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, and control systems
• Electrical knowledge includingandnbsp;sensors, relays, drives, and basic PLC fault finding
• Ability to read and interpretandnbsp;engineering drawings and schematics
• Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement

• Strong mechanical skills
• Experience working within aandnbsp;continuous process or automated environment
