Mobile Fleet Technician - Reading/ Berkshire

Day shifts andndash;

Up to andpound;53,500- Paid door to door

Are you ready to go on the road and take your technical skills to a dedicated network of customer sites?andnbsp;

If so, then this could be the role for you?andnbsp;

We are looking for a self motivated and independent HGV Vehicle Engineer who can travel to our clients various workshops in a designated area providing:andnbsp;

  • Calloutsandnbsp;
  • Preventative Maintenanceandnbsp;
  • Emergency Breakdownsandnbsp;
  • Pre-arranged servicing at rural sitesandnbsp;
  • MOT Preparationandnbsp;
  • Engine work and diagnostic investigationsandnbsp;
  • Correction of running defects andnbsp;
  • Chassis and fabrication work andnbsp;
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics andnbsp;
  • Improvement of vehicle standards andnbsp;
  • Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections andnbsp;

You will be travelling within a designated area and have use of a fully equipped van.andnbsp;andnbsp;

We require an excellent understanding of vehicle technology, and be capable of following the repair process fromandnbsp;fault analysis to completionandnbsp;

In this role, no 2 days will ever be the same and the products that you work on will be diverse. HGVandrsquo;s, Gritters, Refuse Collection Vehicles, Tankers, Sweepers, Flat Beds and Cherry Pickers.andnbsp;

Your industry is moving faster with every day that passes. Electric andamp; Hydrogen Vehicles are now part of the present and you will be trained on the newest products and repair techniques when required.andnbsp;

AClass2 Licence would be beneficial.andnbsp;

You will need to be a fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or have been accredited via an authorised Apprenticeship.andnbsp;
