Rates of Pay: £13.77 per hour/ Guaranteed 8 hours per day

Day-to-Day Duties

• Driving: Safely operate company vans on designated waste and recycling collection routes.

• Loading: Collect, load, and deliver heavy goods.

• Vehicle Checks: Complete daily walk-around checks and report any vehicle defects.

• Technology: Use mobile devices and in-cab tech to update route and collection

Essential Skills

andemsp;andemsp;-andemsp;Valid UK Category B driving licence
andemsp;andemsp;-andemsp;Minimum 12 month's experience driving Category B vehicles
andemsp;andemsp;-andemsp;No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
andemsp;andemsp;-andemsp;Good knowledge of the UK road network
andemsp;andemsp;-andemsp;Ability to speak and read a good level of English
andemsp;andemsp;-andemsp;Excellent punctuality and time-keeping
andemsp;andemsp;-andemsp;Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
andemsp;andemsp;-andemsp;Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

andemsp;andemsp;-andemsp;Experience driving commercial vehicles
andemsp;andemsp;-andemsp;Previous multi-drop delivery experience
