Key Responsibilities
andmiddot;Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on food processing and packaging machinery
andmiddot;Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdowns, including working with PLC-controlled systems
andmiddot;React quickly to faults to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency
andmiddot;Support and deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
andmiddot;Work collaboratively within a skilled engineering team to ensure high operational standards
Skills andamp; Experience Required
The successful Maintenance Engineer will ideally have experience within a manufacturing or production environment and be electrically biased, with mechanical understanding.
However the company is open to developing the right person.
If you are mechanically biased but want to strengthen your electrical skills, full training and development will be provided.
Desired Qualifications
andmiddot;BTEC / ONC in Electrical or Multi-skilled Engineering
andmiddot;City andamp; Guilds 2330 Level 3 with NVQ Level 3 Electrical Maintenance
andmiddot;Time-served apprenticeship or HNC in a relevant discipline
(Equivalent qualifications also considered)
