Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Sutton Coldfield

Salary: -50,000 - -56,000 per annum + Benefits

Shift Pattern: 3 Shift Rotation

  • AM: 6am - 2pm (Monday-Friday)

  • PM: 2pm - 10pm (Monday-Friday)

  • Nights: 10pm - 6am (Sunday-Thursday)

A well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Sutton Coldfield is looking to recruit a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to strengthen its Engineering team.

This opportunity has arisen due to a retirement within their team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

  • Responding to reactive breakdowns quickly and effectively

  • Electrical fault finding on production equipment

  • Mechanical maintenance including robotics, motors, gearboxes, belts and chains

  • Working with hydraulics and pneumatics systems

  • Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects

  • Working collaboratively within a team of skilled engineers



Requirements

  • Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment

  • Multiskilled - both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience

  • Ability to read electrical drawings and fault find

  • Level 3 Engineering qualification (or equivalent) preferred

  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude
