TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of welcoming nurseries across Carlisle, who are looking to appoint Nursery Practitioners on a day-to-day, short-term, long-term and permanent basis. These nurseries provide safe, nurturing and stimulating environments where children are encouraged to learn through play and develop confidence, independence and key social skills.

The nurseries are looking to take on flexible and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to support across Early Years settings. The successful Nursery Practitioner will be expected to support children with daily activities, encourage learning and development through the EYFS curriculum, and work closely with nursery staff to ensure children receive the highest standard of care and education.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

andbull; Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification desirable

andbull; Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting

andbull; Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS

andbull; A caring and patient approach to supporting young children

andbull; Strong communication and teamwork skills

andbull; A positive andlsquo;can-doandrsquo; attitude
