Onboarding administrator

Job Description

We are supporting a large organisation in Telford who is looking for an organised Onboarding and Screening Co-ordinator/ Administrator to support their onboarding process.

This is a contract role that will run until the end of the year. This is a hybrid working role with a requirement for 2 days in the office (WED and THURS).

You will manage day-to-day tasks, handle pre-employment checks, and ensure compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Carry out security and onboarding checks to meet compliance standards
  • Enter candidate information into systems and process account/asset requests
  • Arrange and support reference checking, screening and DBS checks
  • Verify documents such as passports, visas, and criminal records
  • Maintain accurate records, tracking tools, and reports
  • Support team projects and resolve process issues

About you:

You will have worked in a similar role performing high volume screening checks and you will have:

  • Administration experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
