Operations Manager - Waste / FM
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: -40,000 - -50,000 (DOE)
Full-Time | Monday-Friday

Are you an experienced Operations Manager within the Waste or FM sector, looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact?

I'm currently working with a growing, forward-thinking business that is looking to bring in an Operations Manager to act as the key link between senior leadership and frontline teams.

This is a pivotal role within the business - ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is confident managing both people and performance.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth delivery across the business while acting as the bridge between directors and operational staff.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Managing and supporting operational teams (drivers, site staff, customer teams)
• Acting as the main point of contact between directors and the wider team
• Driving performance, efficiency, and service delivery
• Implementing and improving processes across operations
• Supporting with compliance, Handamp;S, and industry regulations
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

About You:

• Proven experience within waste management, recycling, or FM
• Currently operating at Supervisor, Team Leader, or Operations Manager level
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Comfortable working closely with senior leadership
• Commercially aware with a focus on service and performance
• Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused
