P.E. Teacher andndash; Birley Academy, Sheffield
The Supply Register is working in partnership with Birley Academy to recruit a P.E. Teacher on a flexible supply basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about physical education and committed to inspiring students to stay active and achieve their potential across Key Stage 3 and 4.
The role includes:
andbull; Delivering engaging P.E. lessons across KS3 and KS4
andbull; Planning and adapting lessons to suit all learners
andbull; Encouraging participation and promoting a healthy lifestyle
andbull; Assessing and providing feedback on student progress
andbull; Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment
andbull; Managing behaviour in line with school expectations
andbull; Working collaboratively within the P.E. department and wider school team
Weandrsquo;re looking for candidates who:
andbull; Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
andbull; Have experience teaching P.E. at secondary level
andbull; Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
andbull; Communicate effectively and professionally
andbull; Hold high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
andbull; Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
