We have an exciting opportunity for a Pipework Fitter based in Bedfordshire for one of our clients on a Full Time Permanent basis.

Summary of the Pipework Fitter role

Salary: andpound;32,000 - andpound;34,000
Location: Bedfordshire
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday andndash; Friday 8am-5pm + travel

Responsibilities of the Pipework Fitter

andbull; Install compressed air pipework systems at customer locations
andbull; Assist with installation, positioning and basic mechanical assembly or air compressors and associated compressed air equipment
andbull; Work under direction of an Installation Engineer to ensure installations comply with required standards and guidelines
andbull; Carry out tasks involving working at height, using appropriate access equipment in line with rules
andbull; Support with loading/unloading pipework and other heavy equipment
andbull; Adhere to strict health and safety procedures
andbull; Complete job records
andbull; Communicate clearly progress and issues
andbull; Travel to customer sites as required, including overnight stays when necessary

Requirements for a successful Pipework Fitter

andbull; Confident in use of standard hand tools
andbull; Comfortable working at height and using equipment as well as comfortable working in industrial and manufacturing environments
andbull; Strong awareness of health and safety in an engineering environment
andbull; Physically capable of carrying out manual handling tasks
andbull; Full UK driving licence
