The Company

NEOS are working with a well-established and growing plant hire business supplying a wide range of machinery to construction, infrastructure and industrial projects across the UK. With a strong reputation for reliability and service, they are looking to expand their engineering team with an experienced Workshop Engineer.

The Role

This is a workshop-based position responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a fleet of heavy plant and equipment.

You will play a key role in ensuring machinery is prepared, maintained and returned to site in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a wide range of plant equipment
• Diagnose and fault find mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical issues
• Carry out PDIandrsquo;s and inspections on equipment
• Prepare machines for hire and ensure they meet safety standards
• Complete job sheets and service records accurately
• Work closely with the hire desk and operations team

Equipment You May Work On

• Excavators
• Dumpers
• Rollers
• Telehandlers
• Small tools andamp; ancillary equipment

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For

• Experience working as a Plant Engineer / Workshop Engineer
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
• Basic electrical fault finding skills
• Experience within plant hire, construction or similar environments
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)
