Plant Nursery Operative
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join a well established plant Nursery on the outskirts of Chippenham. Very friendly team and sociable hours.
Working hours:
Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30
Friday - 08:00 - 15:30
Pay:
-12.21per hour

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To assist with plant production on the Nursery
MAIN TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Undertake any of the following duties as required:
POTTING
Work as part of the potting team to ensure good quality plants at an acceptable rate
PACKING
Work as part of the packing team to ensure plants are prepared for customers in a clean, labelled and correct manner. Paying attention to through put of trays and quality
PROPAGATION
Work as part of the prop. team to take cuttings in order to produce young plants for growing on
PLANT CARE
Assist with weeding, trimming, plant moving and watering
GENERAL
Always ensuring that the Nursery is kept tidy and areas are cleaned after work is finished
