Job Description
Are you an experienced plasterer with a keen eye for detail? We're looking for a skilled Damp and Mould Plasterer to join our team and help improve homes by tackling damp and mould issues.
Job Title: Damp and Mould Plasterer
Location: Birmingham
Rate: -23 per hour + Van and Fuel card
Key Responsibilities:
Apply plaster to walls and ceilings, focusing on areas affected by damp and mould.
Identify the source of dampness or mould and recommend effective solutions.
Treat affected areas with anti-mould agents and ensure proper sealing to prevent future damage.
Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and smoothing.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
Collaborate with other team members to complete jobs on time and to the highest standard.
Required Skills andamp; Experience:
Proven experience in plastering, with a focus on damp and mould treatment.
Knowledge of mould treatment chemicals and techniques.
Ability to assess and solve damp-related problems efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving license (if applicable).
Desirable:
CSCS card or relevant certification.
Experience working in both domestic and commercial settings.
Previous experience with moisture barrier applications.
