We are seeking a high-caliber Strategic Portfolio Manager to join our Networks PMO. This isn't just about tracking spreadsheets; it's about bringing structure to complexity and driving delivery excellence across a massive, high-impact set of work. Our PMO is laser-focused on value-ensuring we deliver better outcomes for our customers, faster.

As a Strategic Portfolio Manager, you will be the engine room of the portfolio, working directly with Portfolio Directors to align complex programmes with our long-term strategic goals. You will move beyond administrative support to provide the actionable insights that shape executive decision-making.

• Strategic Alignment: Partner with the Portfolio Director and Delivery Directors to ensure every project and programme is structured to meet core business objectives.
• Insight andamp; Excellence: Drive the development of strategic plans that maximize portfolio value. You won't just report data; you'll translate it into recommendations that enhance delivery excellence.
• Stakeholder Leadership: Act as a central bridge between Programme Managers, the Project Management community, Commercial teams, and the wider PMO.
• Risk andamp; Dependency Navigation: Proactively identify and mitigate risks and complex dependencies across the portfolio to ensure seamless execution.
• Roadmap Ownership: Create and maintain high-level portfolio roadmaps, providing clear visibility of timelines and milestones to keep all stakeholders informed and empowered.

• A Natural Navigator: You thrive in complex environments and have a knack for bringing order to large-scale, multifaceted workstreams.
• Data-Driven: You have a sharp analytical mind, capable of pulling "the story" out of the data to drive better business outcomes.
• A Master Communicator: You can influence and engage at all levels, from technical project teams to senior leadership.
• Delivery Focused: You understand that a PMO exists to enable delivery, not just to enforce process. You are passionate about delivering value to the customer sooner.
