The Role

Weandrsquo;re looking for a committed Safeguarding andamp; Prevent Intervention Worker to support the Head of Student Experience in delivering the Collegeandrsquo;s Prevent Duty responsibilities, with a particular focus on Martynandrsquo;s Law (Protect Legislation 2022). You will provide practical and emotional support to students, deliver staffandnbsp;training, and raise awareness of key safeguarding and Prevent themes, including radicalisation and local risks.

Working closely with internal teams, the Regional Prevent Co-ordinator, and external agencies, youandrsquo;ll play a key role in early intervention, information sharing, and ensuring students receive timely and effective support. This cross-college role also contributes to wider safeguarding arrangements and prevention initiatives.

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For

Weandrsquo;re seeking someone with strong knowledge of pastoral intervention, safeguarding thresholds, and Prevent/Channel processes. You should have experience supporting children, young people, or families, along with experience in education and multi-agency working. A solid understanding of the Prevent Duty 2015 and Martynandrsquo;s Law 2022 is essential.
