The School

A well-regarded primary school in the Abbey Wood area of Greenwich is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The Role

The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 3 class, supporting pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2.

You will join a supportive year group team with clear planning structures and shared resources.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Supporting development in reading, writing and maths
• Using assessment to inform teaching and track progress
• Maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment
• Working closely with colleagues and support staff

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:

• Holds QTS with recent UK primary experience
• Has KS2 experience or strong ECT placements
• Demonstrates effective classroom management
• Is organised, proactive and reflective
• Works well within a team
