Salary: andpound;34,398 andndash; andpound;46,839 (dependent on experience)

A well-regarded primary school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join its team from September 2026. This long-term opportunity is suitable for experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to make a meaningful impact in Lower Key Stage 2 from the start of the new academic year.
The RoleAs a Year 4 Teacher, you will create an engaging and supportive classroom environment that helps pupils build confidence, independence, and strong academic foundations as they progress through Key Stage 2.
Key Responsibilitiesandbull; Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the Lower KS2 curriculum
andbull; Differentiate teaching to support a range of abilities and learning styles
andbull; Deliver high-quality teaching in core subjects including reading, writing, and mathematics
andbull; Monitor pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
andbull; Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
andbull; Work collaboratively with colleagues on planning, assessment, and curriculum delivery
andbull; Build positive relationships with parents and carers
andbull; Contribute to school activities and the wider school community
andbull; QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
andbull; Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable)
andbull; Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
andbull; Strong classroom management and reflective practice
andbull; A genuine commitment to supporting childrenandrsquo;s learning and development
andbull; Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
