Our client is looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer (Major Projects Electrical Lead) to join their Building Services team in the North West. You'll take the lead on electrical design across major schemes, working alongside senior mechanical counterparts and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, innovative, and high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities:
andmiddot;Lead the delivery of electrical design across major construction projects
andmiddot;Manage and oversee all works delivered through the Electrical team
andmiddot;Work closely with the Mechanical Lead to ensure coordinated MEP solutions
andmiddot;Manage team utilisation, workload planning, and resource allocation
andmiddot;Set and maintain high standards for technical quality and design delivery
andmiddot;Provide high-level technical advice across electrical building services
andmiddot;Oversee feasibility studies, detailed design, and condition reporting
andmiddot;Attend and contribute to project design meetings, driving technical solutions
andmiddot;Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality procedures, and best practice
andmiddot;Support innovation and continuous improvement across project delivery

What They're Looking For:
andmiddot;Chartered Engineer (CIBSE or IET)
andmiddot;Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
andmiddot;Strong experience leading electrical design on large-scale projects
andmiddot;Experience managing engineering teams and driving performance
andmiddot;Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to a wider audience
andmiddot;Strong understanding of quality assurance and design control processes
andmiddot;Knowledge of complex infrastructure environments (e.g. tunnels) beneficial
andmiddot;Ability to meet BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requirements
