We are currently recruiting for a Production Support Operative and FLT Driver to join a busy and supportive team in Cheltenham. This is a key role within the operation, helping to ensure production runs efficiently while supporting multiple departments across the site.
The Details
- Pay: -14.91 per hour
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Contract: Temporary (12 months ongoing, with strong potential for extension or permanent opportunities)
- Location: Cheltenham (own transport is necessary due to location)
The Role
This is a varied position where flexibility and a proactive approach are essential. While your core responsibility will involve preparing packaging, you will also support wider warehouse and production activities.
Key duties include:
- FLT duties including loading and unloading lorries, moving stock around site
- Cutting packaging boxes to size ready for packing and distribution
- Supporting cutting centres to maintain efficient production output
- Making up boxes and ensuring packaging supplies are readily available
- Carrying out stock checks and assisting with inventory control
- Replenishing materials and consumables across departments
- Assisting with picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse
- Providing general support across different departments as required
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety, and organisation
- Preparing work areas with sufficient supplies for both day and night shifts
What We're Looking For
- In date FLT Licence is highly desirable
- A strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Willingness to take on a variety of tasks across different departments
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
- Comfortable working in a production or warehouse environment
- Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred but not essential
- Own transport is required due to location
