THE ROLE
andbull; Support the Engineering Manager in delivering detailed technical documentation, including inspection reports, repair plans, and rebuild reports
andbull; Produce and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support service activities and accurate job costing
andbull; Assess rotating equipment and define required repairs and restoration processes
andbull; Provide guidance on best manufacturing and repair practices for refurbishment projects
andbull; Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure all parts, materials, and resources are available in line with project timelines
andbull; Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to maintain smooth workflow from project start to completion
andbull; Oversee and support a small team, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard
andbull; Work closely with the quality team to ensure all documentation and processes meet required standards and best practice
andbull; Contribute to the overall delivery of projects, maintaining a strong understanding of operational processes across the business
THE PERSON
andbull; Qualified Mechanical Engineer (time-served or degree-qualified)
andbull; Strong experience working with rotating equipment is essential
andbull; Good understanding of pump systems and associated testing methods
andbull; Knowledge of reverse engineering and mechanical refurbishment processes
andbull; Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in using ERP systems
andbull; Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
andbull; High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation
andbull; Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
andbull; Capable of leading or supporting a team within a fast-paced engineering environment
