Project Manager - Civils

Job Description

Bracken Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced Project Managerandnbsp;for one of our clients who are working on Civils worksandnbsp;in the Buckinghamshire region.

The role will include day to day project management duties on site where you will have a site team reporting directly to you. The role will involve the management of site activity, programming work and resources, health, safety and environmental planning and monitoring, client and sub-contractor liaison and reporting on project progress to the project teams.andnbsp;

You will also have to liaise with the Client and attend regular meetings regarding progress and issues etc.andnbsp;

The successful candidate will be the main site contact and reporting into the Operations Manager. You will also ensure that the project teams carry out the works to a high-quality standard in a safe manner and to agreed timescales whilst maintaining profitability and ensuring that all incidents/accidents and near misses are reported correctly.

Knowledge andamp; Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Civilandnbsp;Engineering
  • Experience of Project Delivery
  • Ability to liaise with the Client, Engineers, Estimators and Surveyors
  • Degree Qualified
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office andndash; Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Knowledge of method statements and risk assessments
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Knowledge of Health andamp; Safety Procedures, Management Systems and Quality Assurance Procedures.
