Project Manager - ecommerce and Warehouse Implementation

Loom Talent are delighted to be supporting the search for a Project Manager - ecommerce and Warehouse Implementation on behalf of a global leader in contract logistics.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a major warehouse implementation project, expected to run for a minimum of 12 months and with an immediate start available.
The Role
As Project Manager - ecommerce and Warehouse Implementation, you will take full ownership of delivering a new e-commerce pick, pack, and distribution warehouse, ensuring a successful go-live that is delivered on time, within budget and fully operational for business-as-usual. You will manage the project lifecycle from planning through to execution and final delivery, working closely with operations, IT, supply chain teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and go-live
- Manage stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Oversee warehouse design, setup, and operational processes
- Coordinate systems integration, including WMS and OMS
- Ensure site readiness, compliance, and operational performance standards
- Monitor and report on risks, budgets, and timelines to senior leadership
Candidate Requirements
- Proven project management experience within logistics, retail or e-commerce
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and fulfilment processes
- Experience supporting Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) operations
- A track record of leading cross-functional teams and large-scale implementations
- Familiarity with WMS/OMS systems and integration
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- PRINCE2 or PMP certification (desirable)
