A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a prestigious andpound;80m new build residential and student accommodation development in West London.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project on site, reporting directly to a visiting Project Director. This is a delivery-focused role, well suited to a strong construction-led Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Full project management of the scheme from site start through to practical completion and handover
- Management of site teams, subcontractors and supply chain to ensure programme, quality and safety targets are met
- Driving site progress, sequencing works, and resolving construction issues as they arise
- Chairing and leading site meetings and coordinating with senior management
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with build programme, drawings and specifications
- Maintaining high standards of health andamp; safety and site compliance
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on residential schemes (private or student accommodation)
- Managed at least two projects from start to finish in a Project Manager capacity
- Strong construction background with demonstrable on-site leadership skills
- Experience delivering medium to large-scale new build schemes
- Able to work under a visiting Project Director with a high degree of autonomy
