Location: Bedford. Remote working.
Salary: GBP50,000 per year, plus bonus
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8.30am - 5.30pm. Fridays, 8.30am - 3pm.
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Bridge Recruit is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their ever-expanding team.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- Lead the planning and implementation of our clients deployment projects in data centres.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitment if necessary, during project cycle.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Engage with various partners internationally to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work in parallel with the Service Sales Coordinator to align project objectives with client requirements and service agreements.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Requirements of the Project Manager:
- Qualifications in engineering are preferred.
- Proven experience in project management within data centre environments.
- Strong understanding of our clients technologies and deployment processes, with a particular focus on liquid cooling solutions.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Ability to travel to data centre sites as required.
