Role Summary

Project Manager required to lead product development activity, ensuring functional, cost and quality requirements are achieved within agreed timescales and budgets. This role will work cross-functionally to drive delivery, maintain clear project visibility, and support effective decision-making across the business.

Role andamp; Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Project Manager activities across product development projects, ensuring delivery against cost, quality and timing objectives.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Sales and Purchasing teams to achieve project goals and maintain alignment across functions.
• Promote an agile way of working through regular team meetings and short feedback loops.
• Provide clear reporting on project status, progress and risk to senior leadership.
• Lead the Product Engineering Process (PEP) for new product development, including schedules, budgets and deliverables
• Facilitate workshops focused on innovation, design to cost, design for manufacture and problem solving.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives to improve profitability.

Requirements of the Role

• Bachelorandrsquo;s or Masterandrsquo;s degree, ideally in Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience working as a Project Manager, ideally within product development.
• Project management qualification such as PMP or Prince2 would be advantageous.
• Highly desirable experience working with machined precision components and castings.
• Strong understanding of precision metal parts and assemblies.
• Demonstrable communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Agile mindset with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
• Ability to summarise complex information clearly for leadership teams.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
