Our local government clients in Nottinghamshire are seeking a Public Realm Operative. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Educated to at least GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with using handheld computers.
• Physically fit, capable of performing manual tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling), and able to walk long distances in all weather conditions.
• Holder of a valid driving license and able to operate vehicles weighing up to 7.5 tonnes.
• andnbsp;Ability to safely and effectively use hand and powered tools.
• Basic mechanical awareness, including the ability to perform vehicle checks.
• A team player who can also work independently and use their initiative.
• Good communication skills for interacting with colleagues and the public.
• Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Willingness to undertake training and induction and adhere to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments (RAs).
• Ability to use electronic devices to report completed work.
• Available for induction on March 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
• Available to be paired with a buddy for the 6:30 AM to 2 PM shift for several weeks.
• Willing to transition to the 2 PM to 10 PM shift.
• Must have a valid driving license.
• Must provide references for the past three years.
