QA/Site Engineer
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced QA/Site Engineer to work on a marine civils project. This is an opportunity to join an established civil engineering contractor delivering complex marine and coastal infrastructure works within a challenging environment.
QA Engineer Roles andamp; Responsibilities:
- Setting out works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme
- Supporting the delivery of marine civils works on a live site with a strong focus on quality assurance
- Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager
- Managing QA documentation, ITPs, inspection records, and as-built documentation
- Carrying out site inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works meet required quality standards
- Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with HSEQ requirements
- Maintaining accurate site records and assisting with handover documentation
- Assisting with surveys and resolving technical and quality-related issues
QA Engineer Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer or QA Engineer on civil engineering projects
- Experience on marine civils, coastal, or marine infrastructure schemes preferred
- Strong understanding of QA processes, ITPs, and inspection procedures
- Good setting out and surveying skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Valid CSCS card
- Good communication and organisational skills
