Are you a detail-driven Quality Engineer looking to join a growing electro-mechanical manufacturing business where your work will have a real impact?

Weandrsquo;re partnering with an established and innovative engineering manufacturer in Staines that is looking to strengthen its quality team with the addition of a proactive and hands-on Quality Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment, supporting both manufacturing and supplier quality activities while driving continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer:

  • Conduct inspection and testing of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Support and maintain quality management systems, audits, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Investigate non-conformances, carry out root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions
  • Maintain accurate quality records, calibration systems, and product traceability throughout production
  • Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve overall quality performance
  • Support supplier quality activities and help ensure compliance with ISO and customer requirements
  • Contribute to driving a strong quality-focused culture across the business

Requirements for the Quality Engineer:

  • Previous experience within a Quality Engineer, Quality Inspector, or Quality Assurance role in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Understanding of structured quality systems and ISO standards
  • Experience with inspection techniques, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement activities
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical and analytical approach
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-moving engineering environment

This role may also suit candidates with experience as a:
Quality Inspector, Quality Control Engineer, Mechanical Inspector, Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Technician, Manufacturing Quality Engineer, or Supplier Quality Engineer.
