Quality Technician
Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing food manufacturing business seeking a Quality Technician to join their dynamic quality team. The Role
As a Quality Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality, food safety, and compliance with customer, regulatory, and audit standards. You will help maintain an audit-ready site at all times while supporting both internal processes and external inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
-Work collaboratively within the quality team to uphold product quality and food safety standards
-Ensure the site remains audit-ready at all times
-Manage product testing, including coordinating with external laboratories
-Conduct GMP audits across the site to maintain compliance and standards
-Support external audits, customer visits, and inspections
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and quality records
-Carry out calibration of equipment in line with requirements
Requirements:
-Experience in a quality role within food manufacturing (preferred)
-Understanding of BRC standards and HACCP principles
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
-Highly organised with strong attention to detail
-Adaptable and proactive, with a desire to drive and improve standards
-Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to excellence
